Newsletter: Transforming and Thriving Together

2 min read

Hey there,

You may have noticed a shift in the way I talk about what I do.

For the longest time, I identified as an employee retention and well-being consultant, dabbling in People Operations. Well, it's time for an upgrade.

I’m now proud to introduce you to TMC People Agency. This isn’t just a name change; it’s a complete rebranding that reflects my commitment to helping small and growing businesses thrive alongside their people.

Think of me as your People Operations Leader, specialising in employee retention and well-being. For a deeper dive, check out my newly revamped website here.

Founders Live

Last week, I had the incredible opportunity to attend Founders Live, which has been touring Europe recently. The event was nothing short of amazing. Meeting Nick Hughes was a highlight, and I’m thrilled to share that there are some exciting developments on the horizon from that encounter.

Canmore Trust

On Friday, I took part in something profoundly moving. The Canmore Trust invited me to a read-through of a script for an upcoming movie they’re creating. Now, I can't give away too many details, but let me just say, their mission to prevent suicide is both inspiring and essential.

It was an emotional night, filled with raw, heartfelt moments. The dedication and passion in that room were palpable, and it’s experiences like these that remind me why I do what I do.

Personal Insight

On a personal note, having my father visit from Australia has been a true delight. Family time is precious, and it’s been great having him around. One of the highlights was catching a Tottenham game against Hearts right here in Edinburgh.

Looking Forward

I’ve got a lot in the works right now. There are so many exciting projects and collaborations bubbling under the surface that I can’t wait to share with you.

But for now, I have to keep things under wraps. Trust me, it’ll be worth the wait.

That’s it for this week.

Here’s to strong ideas and even stronger teams,

Matt Cameron
